Display : PAL& Bonds Last Stand appears to be the&first animation released by Hugh Grove&though I may be wrong in that. This&and the other two of his reviewed here&seem to have all been made between&August and November of last year which&means it must have been a pretty
productive time for him.& Bonds Last Stand, (the animator&left the apostrophe out, not me), is a&take off of the opening graphics of&the James Bond movies where 007 is&viewed down the barrel of a gun. This&version has a surprise ending - nuff
said.& This captures the feel of the Bond&intros but the animation of 007&walking is very wooden. The slightly&animated picture that starts this off&doesn't look like any James Bond I#know either. Sean Connery it's not!& The death scene, for there sort of&is one, shamefully pulls it's punches.&You're all set for a splatter movie&and then the artist chickens out at
the finale. Coward.& It's interesting that of the three&Grove animations reviewed in this&issue the two derivative ones are not&quite as good as Road Hog with it's&original characters. Could it be that&it's more interesting creating your&own characters and this transfers&itself to the screen? It's more&interesting for the viewer to see new
faces (and snouts) anyway.& A good anim none the less. One to&stick at the start of your videos&which is the easiest way to view a&swag of Amiga Animations all at once.&And Hugh Grove is a name to keep an
